Loopnote is a journal, and a journal only works if you trust it. This page explains what we collect and how we use it, in plain words. It is a starting draft, please review it against how Loopnote actually handles data before it goes live.

Our promises

No ads, ever. We never sell your data, to anyone, in any form. You can delete everything, anytime, and it is gone for good. Your notes are encrypted at rest.

What we collect

To run the app we hold your account details, such as your email address, and the notes you choose to write. If you subscribe to Plus, our payment provider processes the payment. We do not read your notes to build a profile of you, and we do not share them.

How we use it

We use your details to keep your account working, to loop your own notes back to you, and to show you your patterns. That is the whole job. We use privacy respecting, aggregated analytics to understand how the app is used, never to identify you.

Your choices

You can export your notes at any time, and you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app. To ask a question or make a request, write to us at hello@loopnote.app.
